Ski area Unternberg

The ski area "Unternberg" of the neighbouring village Ruhpolding offers 4 ski lifts that take you up to an altitude of 1,417 m. Up there, 2.5 km of mostly easy and intermediate pistes make for plenty of fun in the snow.

The ski area of the same name is easy to overlook and is thus especially suited for families and children as well as beginners. Four lifts, a half pipe and even a slightly steeper run offer the perfect start to some pleasure on skis! A snow machines makes sure that snow is guaranteed and those who would like to continue skiing until late, can take advantage of the floodlit pistes. Children from 3 to 6 years will really like the kids snow park in the spa park. Here, the little ones are introduced to the alpine sport in a playful way with a little obstacle park, a mini slope and a magic carpet - or they can explore the snow igloo.

The small ski area Skizentrum Hochfelln, whose use is included in the "Inzell Card Plus", offers a fantastic view over Lake Chiemsee and the Central Alps!

Après ski Unternberg

Next to alpine skiing and cross-country skiing, Inzell offers further possibilities to fill up the day with a sporty programme. The natural toboggan, for instance, makes for good fun. A special experience is the snow tubing at the Kesselalm. For those who prefer things a bit more cosy, the idyllic surroundings invite to go for walks on a total of 60 km of winter hiking tracks, which can alternatively also be explored on a horse-drawn carriage ride. The "Inzeller Badepark" offers an opportunity to relax with its pool landscape and Mediterranean sauna area.

In the evening, numerous restaurants, inns and mountain huts, such as the Kessel-Alm directly in the ski area, invite you to a cosy evening. Of course, people also like to meet for a drink in Inzell. Après-ski fans go straight to the Kessel-Alm, but there are also other options in town: the "Bichl-Pub", for example, or the "Rappelkiste".
